Curious to know what your experience with The Birthing Way looks like?

The Birthing Way is not simply a service — it is a relationship.

Care with The Birthing Way is continuous, relational, and intentionally structured. From the moment we begin working together, you are supported physically, emotionally, and educationally as you prepare for one of life’s most profound thresholds. Support is not limited to the day of birth. It is woven throughout your pregnancy and into your early postpartum.

Care includes:

Two scheduled, in-person prenatal appointments
These dedicated visits are intentionally set on the calendar to prepare your mind and body for birth. We explore your hopes and preferences, comfort techniques, physiological birth education, partner preparation, body-balancing practices to support optimal maternal and fetal positioning, and develop a birth plan unique to you and your family.

Scheduled monthly virtual check-ins
In addition to our in-person visits, we meet virtually each month throughout your pregnancy. These structured touchpoints create consistent space for education, emotional processing, and questions as your pregnancy unfolds.

Continuous support throughout pregnancy
You have access to me between appointments. As questions arise, decisions present themselves, or emotions surface, you are not navigating them alone. I provide steady guidance and responsive support so you feel informed and grounded every step of the way.

On-call availability beginning at 37 weeks
From 37 weeks onward, I remain on-call for your birth. When labor begins, I join you once active labor is established and remain continuously at your side through the duration of labor and delivery, staying approximately one-two hours postpartum to ensure you are settled, supported, and beginning your bonding journey with steadiness and care.

Two in-person postpartum appointments
The birthing story does not end when the baby arrives. The first postpartum visit includes a complete, IBCLC-led lactation assessment, infant weigh-in, and hands-on feeding support — ensuring you and your baby are comfortable, confident, well-supported, and thriving.

Both visits include dedicated time for birth processing, emotional integration, and open conversation. This is your space to reflect, ask questions, and receive guidance on newborn behavior, postpartum healing, nervous system regulation, feeding rhythms, and the many transitions of early parenthood.

Beyond the birth package
The Birthing Way Experience is designed to create continuity, confidence, and calm — honoring not just the birth of your baby, but the birth of you as a mother.
In addition to the foundational doula package outlined above, families may choose to enhance their experience with additional offerings. Services such as prenatal and postpartum bodywork, abdominal therapy, belly binding, placenta encapsulation, herbal support, childbirth education, and extended lactation care are available as add-ons to further individualize your journey and ensure your care feels deeply aligned with your needs.
